I know there are always many in need - and in our own countries too - but I am really touched by this story. So often, in wars and natural disasters, the forgotten ones are the domestic animals whose owners may be dead or displaced. In a country like Serbia which has been so bitterly fought over for so long, I believe that making a difference to the animals also makes a difference to the people; that it's an investment in hope for the future...
